my family woke up early to open presents before i went to work, and while i was rather tired, everyone was happy and in a good mood and it was enjoyable.

work was good too, as the people working were all people i enjoy working with and as we were open for only 6 hours there wasn't much to do so mostly amanda and i wandered around talking and finding odd things to do.

as we were closing a few people bothered me. several people called to see if we were open and upon telling them that we had closed at 3 and no we could not stay open so they could come down and purchase a few last minute things, they acted irritated and hung up without a goodbye. as if we're simply there to serve them and have no families of our own.

good times followed though, as i came home to my family still in good moods and we had a good dinner and good conversation followed by some viewing of our new "dishtv" aka the closest to cable we ever get.

all in all it was a nice day and i am quite pleased with it.
