give me the pen

i just made a veggie pizza, and then i put salmon on it. as i eat it, i still can't decide whether or not it was a good idea.

living at home is interesting. we hang out here most of the day, and then ali and i do our best to make sure we have plans each night. we've got to escape at least for a few hours each day just to avoid going crazy.

my parents, mainly my dad, have decided that the state of the bedrooms upstairs is not okay. i think he wants to remove traces of my old bedroom being my bedroom, so we can have another generic "guestroom". for all of those guests that never come. maybe he's planning on starting a bed and breakfast one day. Baker Creek Farms Bed and Breakfast. it almost sounds nice. until you remember its a rice farm. outside of willows. so this process involves emptying everything out of my room. ali's cleaning out her room as well, so we've got almost a truckload of thrift shop donations by now. and another truckload of garbage. everything i'm not giving or throwing away is to be packed away in neatly labeled boxes for easy storage and later, easy finding. i was getting close to the point of being done with this project, and feeling very glad i was, when my dad reminded me that next we go to the attic. oh god. what a nightmare. the floor up there used to be nice, but now its littered with holes so you have to reach and leap to get around, and there are so many random boxes of stuff that my brother and sisters and i have shoved up there or various room cleaning occasions. the idea of sorting through all of it is overwhelming. however, one day, it shall be done. and then, hopefully, they'll move. they being my parents. and hopefully its to a cool place far away. so i won't have to deal with them as much, but it will be nice to visit.

sorry if this was boring. deal with it.
