these moments are all too rare for some and i wish i could being them to everyone everyday.

one of my favorite things to do is to read other people's diaries. while many are dull and devoid of emotion, occasionally you find someone who writes so beautifully and so honestly that you would do anything to have their gift, but mostly you just feel lucky to have been given that glimpse into another's soul.

my new goal with this journal is to write only for one person. i've heard it said that the best writing is written with a specific audience in mind. that the best stories are not written for the world and the generations to come, but for one person who was that loved by the author.
