fantastic. i am still floating from yesterday. almost like feel-good overdose. I finally got to see Bethany perform after listening to Ben rave about her much, and she definately lived up to his descriptions. she made me want to run home and practice practice practice on my guitar, and her voice, amazing. it was just so cool to be there with friends and other good people and get to watch her perform, which she clearly loved to be doing. and she played a neutral milk hotel song, which rocks. this guy from seattle, levi fuller played with her, which is extra cool cause they hooked up through friendster. he did some "experimental" stuff i guess you'd call it. i thought he performed well, and kept everyone entertained what with songs about worms and crows and being a funny guy.
and then outta nowhere we ended up going to this girl jourdan's birthday party, which just happened to be like across the street from my apartment. lots of dancing ensued. as well as eating fruit, which is always good. there were a ton of really fun nice people and i was so happy with it all. it made me feel all warm and fuzzy and i've been going with that euphoria all day. some guys also played some music, including benny on the drums for a spell. there were stuffed animals all over the living room too. which makes me endlessly happy.
andy is adorable and that also makes me happy.
i'm going to shower. and get ready to watch wet hot american summer. if you're not already planning on it, you should come over. we accept anyone and everyone. well, unless you're mean, then nobody wants you.
