eating store bought sushi sucks. this is because the entire you're eating it, you're concerned because the roll is just so solidly together, because its been chilling like that for hours, if not all day. so the entire time you're eating it, you're chewing carefully, anxiously waiting to get a bad bite. and then, even though all is going well, you become more fearful and start to analyze the rolls left on your tray. and you start to notice every little flaw. miniscule brown spots on the avacado, a yellow speck in the rice, too much of one ingredient, so it looks off balance. all of these irrelevant things began to factor in, and soon you're tossing the last 3 rolls in the garbage and reaching for the cookies. anybody want my ginger?
